In the state of TN you have the right to be evaluated by one of our Physical Therapists without a prescription from a physician. TN law calls it “Direct Access”. However, some insurance carriers such as TennCare and Worker’s Compensation carriers require a referral. Medicare requires a physician to be actively involved in your physical therapy plan of care. Please check requirements with your insurance carrier prior to making an appointment.
We can accept referrals from Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Podiatrists. The prescription/referral must include your name, diagnosis, referral date and has to be signed by the referring professional.

We have constructed plans to meet your individual needs for patients with no insurance, insurance with high deductibles, or insurance with a limited number of allowed physical therapy visits.
